I guess this is real dumb, but I guess there is nowhere to buy the material Fiat used on the Unos when they were made. The drivers seat foam has collapsed a bit and the cover is nearly worn through. I wanted to get the seat back to good condition. The car only cost NZ$200.00 and it is going to cost 650 for an upholsterer to recover and rebuild the seats with new and different material on the front of the seats!! Ouch. I wonder if I can do them myself.

Piping is worn through too.

I´ve taken a seat apart. And I can tell you it´s a lot of work.
Just try to get another seat. That´s all.

water cleaner.

Getting another seat sounds like a good idea, but most have high km, so the seats are just as worn. Material worn through n the base and the outside edge of the back.

Would like to have an old car with hi km looking like a good one!
But the idea is wearing off!!
