That's incredible. Either the other cars weren't trying or some serious work has gone into that Uno. The Ferrari driver must have been absolutley gutted!

Higher boost can make a Uno turbo a real giant killer over the 1/4 mile!

If there was a twisty race circuit the Porsche and Ferrari would leave the Uno behind as they do have better road holding and grip.

Somewhere back home I have an old car magazine with a feature on a modified Uno turbo. They did performance tests on it, and it was quicker than an 80's Ferrari. Not the Testarrosa though!

But what a laugh seeing a little Uno stomp all over those expensive supercars! Great fun!

Yes, I do have a copy. Only problem is that it is back home in the UK and I'm in the USA until April 15th!

Send me a reminder after April 15th and I'll make sure I get it scanned so everyone can see it.

From what I remember the modified Uno turbo also had water injection, though I'll have to re-read the article to be sure.
