| Odd problem ?? I have this 1993 1.1 CFI Fire engine. There are 3 marks to check the correct distribution and ignition timmings: P1 is on the camshaft pulley P2 is on the Cranckshaft pulley P3 is (ignition tune) on the flyweel It is suposed that all 3 marks are on 'zero' at the same time, but not on my engine. Can some one help me? where should i investigate a fault? Thanks in advance.

| Re: Odd problem ?? The marks should be set in realtion to top dead centre (TDC) of the engine, then the timing mark on the flywheel is adjusted to whatever mark the haynes manual says (my 999cc fire is 2 degrees BTDC) by twisting the distributor. I'll explain a little later on if you've had no other responses - cos im late for uni ![]() Just had a brainwave, i think the methods are different for the types of engine - Injected and non injected... Not sure if yours is or not - its a FIRE but the CFI has threw me
