(G) clubUno

As brought up in the suggestions thread - theres no UK based Uno owners club. Thats where you come in!

Now do you all want to club together and form one, develop it etc - just like BOO, clubcento etc etc etc...?

Im more than capable and willing to produce any form of website, and can host it (have a decent webserver with plenty of bandwidth and space). Seperate domain name can be put on it too so dont have to have a luke1985.co.uk suffix.

So put forward any ideas you have - 1 for the site and 2 for clubs in general

If we club together im sure we can work something out!!

Parts guide - places & prices
Product reviews?
NO FORUMS - only link to uno section here No point drawing away from FF
Competitions (monthly?)

– FF’s the club for me … I can see where you’re coming from . I guess we could have a page for best Uno parts prices / dealers with people’s reviews. Perhaps some type of scoreboard for pictures / posts.

My housemate has stacks of spare static web space – but prob. wants it and bandwidth for us 7 - lol.

Space aint too much of a problem either - i got about a gig free still and about 20gig bandwidth left over from my normal site traffic.

But good comments Can be done so will add it to my list

FF isn't a club. You could go the way of Club Stilo and have a club website but use FF as the forum. You'd probably need to ask Ben first though.

[I Reckon] Unity breaks down the system (re excessive pricing) – so would be good for us all? Got to fight the old divide and conker thingy… LOL.

Well once the site and club gets established - plenty of traffic etc i could always get in contact with CIS and see if they want to offer a small discount to clubUno members... In exchange for free advertising banner on the site etc

If you intend to use FF as the forum, then everyone's happy

I’m still waiting on CIS for a reply to my feedback. I reckon if I speak to one or 2 contacts within CIS… Who knows – could get the ball rolling some time?

Well gotta couple of weeks left till my semester 2 break. I can get the site done during the 3 week break no problems - so can take it from there.

Just in the meantime, just need to get a final list of features for the site

How about competitions like dumb ass of the month?

Say maybe some DnB links? So far its just you (Luke) n me that are representing the Uno Drum N Bass Front?
