I`ve been looking at service kits for my 32 TLF, when going through various pictures of kits, I suddenly noticed that the TLC & TLP range of carbs seem to have identically shaped gaskets & diaphrams. On further investigation I realised that the TLP has 34 or 36mm choke.. that, when used with an opened up inlet manifold, should give a fair bit more power...
Thats assuming the mounting bolts/flange etc are workable.. maybe with a sandwich plate.
They seem to use them on some Citroens, Peugeots as well as some VW Golfs & Jettas up to 1.6...
Thing is, can only find pics of repair kits, not the actual carbs & no specs of jetting etc..
Maybe this is the carb they use on the FIRE in South Africa?
I`ll keep on looking anyway..
