Hello Guys!

I own a fiat Uno 1.7D its a 2001 year and I bought it brand new in 2001 and the car is Pakistani assembled.

I recently got the engine overhauled but I have not been able to get the timings right since no one here has the correct timings tools for uno, these cars were assembled here for a short period but did not gain popularity since Italian tech wasn't understood by local mechanics, parts are very hard to find and are quite pricey.

I would really appreciate if any one of you can please tell me how can I get the timings spot on witout the tools.

I know the crank timings there is a mark on the sprocket which should be aligned with the mark on the back plate.

And on the injection pump, I do see the mark on the pulley as well as the arrow on the back plate. But I believe the pump can be twisted by loosening the bolts holding it thats what I do not understand. Where exactly should it be from there?

And The cam sprocket has about 8 deg. of free play in it.. what do I do with that? I do not have that tool that goes in the place of the vacum pump. How do I get the cam timings right??
