(G) what size tyres will i need (answer ASAP!!!)

i want to get some fiat coupe 16" alloys. what size tyres will i need? will 205/50/16 be ok or are these way too big??

please answer asap!!

Stilo 16s are 205/55/16s iirc.

OK, this doesn't really help, coz now realise you putting onto an Uno?! Don't know how much space you got under there.

They are the standard size tires on coupe alloys

But not a clue if they will fit on the uno?

some cheap coupe alloys on ebay for £122 quid, i bid anyway but lost it cos i was too busy trying to find out if the size of tyre would fit my uno lol! bastard!

They'd be way too big Dunc!

With those tyres, when your speedo was reading 60 mph, you'd actually be doing 67.9 mph!

With 16s, the best tyre would be a 195/40, thats only 2.5mph out.

ahh right cool, so i need 195/40/16? what about 205/40/16?

195/40 16s, when speedo reads 60, you'l be doin 62.5

205/40 16s, when speedo reads 60, you'l be doin 63.4

This is using the standard tyre for an UT as comparison (175/60 13s)

205/40 16s will fit no problem i think.

I wonder if they make 205/35 16s though, that would mean your speedo wasnt out a lot???

They dont have them on mytyres or owt, but they might sell them on the continent.

Fts tyres in warrington would be able to get them if they make them.

They probably dont make them though!

I have 195/45 15 inch TOYO tires and 1st and 2nd is like accelerating on a soap covered road.

I want Slicks.. lol

I would not recommend width above 7" due to the tire width of 195 mm or 205 mm. Even a 5.5" would do the 195 mm. But wider alloys will make a more stable tire. I say max 7".
