| Re: corner splitters I wouldnt get the corner splitters, imo they look a bit cheap. If you wanted a splitter, adapting one to fit from another car like an old vw polo would be good. As for the lights, im not really sure, but the smoked/red ones as standard look pretty good i think.

| Back once again w'the... | Re: corner splitters Corner splitters - absolutely hideous, and tail-light lenses - waste of money ![]() You did ask for opinions but honestly, can't you tint the standard tail-lights with some spray window-tint, or red paint? Incidentally I sprayed black vinyl colour into my tail-light lenses on my white Uno 60, it looked rather cool but it DID make the lights hard to see, so not really a very bright idea (if you'll excuse the pun). I cleaned it out with paint thinners after complaints from the warrant-of-fitness people. -Alex

| Re: corner splitters You haven't even passed your driving test yet, so I assume it's a "slow" Uno you have? I seriously suggest that you don't spend any money on "mods" as it'll be a waste of money. You'd be better off (and have much more fun) doing little bits on the engine for cheap and racing 'new' euro boxes like Corsa's, 106's, etc. 'cos you'll win!

| Re: corner splitters Try GSR Engineering they do mods for the 1.0l
Your best bet would be to make it handle and stop better. Personally i like to do cosmetic mods to my uno as i like the car. Im not kidding myself that i could make the engine any faster so i dont bother with it. People who mod any car, regardless of it being a "slow" uno or not, know that they arent going to get the money back that theyve paid modding it unless its some sort of iconic feature car.

| Re: corner splitters http://www.gsrengineering.com/engineering/mainpage.html Simple exterior mods like: Mesh grille Clear front indicators Smoked side repeaters (from Cinquecento) Colour-coded rear badges Getting some alloys, lowering it and getting an exhaust are all things that would make it look good too. Ive also got a full leather interior though! ![]() Have a look at my website, click on the pic below V V V

| Re: corner splitters Cheers charlie, flattery will get you everywhere! My bumpers arent colour coded though, just lots of armorall and a good job the car is black! The wires should already be behind the dash for the clock.
