Exclamation uno fire 999cc

Hello again
I need your help again so please feel free to answer.

I want to buy new covers for the seats but i havent managed to find how the hell you take off the head rests (if you can ) please any help welcomed because i have ried everything

sorry but you CANT remove the head rests as far as I know.If you want you can hacksaw them off!hehehehe

USually the seat cover has to go around the headrest or have a lip which goes under the headrest between the legs of the headrest

We had this question come up a few months back. Assuming that your head restraints are the 'open' design (not padded and covered with seat material) you have to pop the covering off the back of the seat. You'll find a plastic strip clipped into place at the base of the seat back. Loosen the material and check for two hair-pin-like clips mounted high on the seat back frame. Prise these out with a long screwdriver and the head restraint should be free.

If you have the padded (covered) headrests fitted to '87 and earlier cars (in my experience) then it's much easier - you just twist the posts through 90 degrees and lift off.

I still have this nasty problem with my uno i have been to twwo different mechanics the firs one told me that is the ECU the second told me that is the single point injection system. Ant ideas?
