The second pic looks like
Which is cool, until someone races you....
Congratulations - the first frontal picture looks like a Vectra and the second looks like an FSO Polonez
If you could incorporate Mk2 Punto headlights - which are my favourite-looking headlights in the world - that might look good. But they're curved, so it could be tricky.
Another best bet would be to take the guts out of the Mk2 Punto headlights and try and create a look like the Alfa 159...
I'm so helpful... I shouldn't have said anything!
Wheels look great though

Bloody cheek! LOL
I cant see Vectra at all, but at least the Polonez is an Italian design
Mk2 Punto lights are nice, but couldnt be integrated into an Uno without looking stuck on & `chavvy`, plus I`m looking for subtle, easy to reverse mods with NO metalwork being cut.
I like aggressive twin headlights, maybe I could use Delta Evo ones with a perspex cover to make them look more integrated (& keep the wind drag to original levels).
I`ve also wondered if 164 facelift (projector) headlights would fit...
If you duct the bonnet vent up from behind the radiator using ally sheeting (including a seperate intake for the carb), it reduces your wind drag significantly, as the engine bay creates huge amounts of drag. Combine that with an engine undertray & I`d expect a 5-15mph increase in top speed...
All this crap floating around my brain & I`ve got no room, time & money to do any of it... :bang:
Well you were asking for it, running down my favourite car before
I just remembered that in England, this model of Vectra was called the Cavalier... whoops
YES - good idea. Like an E36 BMW 3-series.
Wonder all you like, but if you find any, send them to me. I'll pay heaps for them!
And a 50% increase in engine bay temperature for my Turbo, I bet
Relax - one day you'll see the parts and find the inspiration, a tub of ISOPON P40 and a power sander, it'll all happen just like that!

Hmm.. air vents on the bonnet..
Isnt the black plastic intake for the cabin air blower though?
If you taped this up however, and put a sheet of metal under teh engine but left a small (relatively speaking) gap at the back of it, would the air flowing in past the radiator, through the engine bay and out the back be enough to sufficiently cool the engine?
It's something I've been wondering for a while actually, seeing as my sump is starting to rust
reminds me of:
