0-100kmh

ok guys,
time to post your acceleration times from 0-100kmh. Well I did mine on a road which is very slightly inclined with me (70kgs) and my dad (110kgs) on board and full tank of fuel. Well I did it in 20sec which is quite respectable I think. Oh yes by the way mine is the 999cc 45bhp F.I.R.E. model!!

My car is completely standard meaning I have no mods on it (yet!!)

What about you guys?? willing to hear from other 999cc FIRE models!!

Re: 0-100kmh

Sorry, when I had my Uno (1.0ie 45) I never had the right oppotunity to do so.
I was just impressed you didn't say 5 seconds uphill with people in - a lot of people like to do that.

Re: 0-100kmh

heheh well I dont like to brag!! I mean if its 20seconds its 20 seconds and not a second less. Well now what I want to do is try it on a level road with 1/2 tank of petrol not full and without my dad.I plan to take a vid of the speedo while accelerating and then I time the video!! I hope to go down to at least 19seconds by doing so

Re: 0-100kmh

In perfect conditions on a flat road with one person in, you should expect more like 16 seconds.

Re: 0-100kmh

I doubt I will be able to get 16secs. The brochure says that for my model the factory specs are 17.7 secs!! Come on guys, can someone post their times??

Re: 0-100kmh

well when i had my uno i managed to get around 30 seconds LOL.

although it was on 15" wheels and was going slightly uphill so its a bit unfair. I recon it would have been around the 18-20 second mark if i was on 13s and on flat.

the 0-40 time on 15s, slightly uphill, was around 13 seconds.

Re: 0-100kmh

hey bushboy,
thanks for posting your time on here. Hmmm regarding you having 15 inch wheels....wel I was gonna fit some but now I've decided not to.Im still on the standard 13inch. I'll fit a set of 14in next year probably with some 185 width rubber. I'm sure I'll be able to make them fit.

Anyone else here wanna post their times or are you all chicken

hehehehe

Re: 0-100kmh

My Uno manages 60 in about 13 seconds, but it's 1108cc. The Panda does it in around 20 seconds, the Brava about 11 seconds and the Alfa around 8 seconds.

Re: 0-100kmh

My Panda 1000CLX does the 0-100 in about 16"(only me and my 70kg )....the official figure for this model is 19.5" but it's referred to the fully laiden vehicle.I guess an Uno 45 takes a bit more to do the same, especially the 5 doors models!Anyway if you're not satisfied by your Uno performance try to do the same test with an Opel Corsa 1.0 12v.... !

Re: 0-100kmh

I get the feeling with the Uno 45 that 0-30 is more appropriate... it seems to be just a few seconds!

Tell ya what, Drinu, in the next couple of days I'll do an 'official' test for you with a stopwatch and a flat local road...
