Re: Steel wheels

Where do we start... Punto, Tipo, Bravo, Brava, Tempra, Stilo, Marea, Multipla, Croma (old).....

Of course getting the offset correct is the hard part.

I`ve been looking into this too, the Tipo Tempra had 13" steels, most, if not all, of the Bravo/Brava rage were also on 13" steels.

Not sure about the old Croma, or the Multipla (I keep meaning to check the peoples one over the road!).

I think the Argenta & 132 were on 14"`s (& I think the 131 Sport), they`ve got a nice amount of "rimmage" too, but I`m not sure if they`d foul the arches & they arent exactly 10 a penny to check.

I think the RWD ones would work on the Tempra, & therefore the tipo`s too as theres such a huge clearance...

We should really have a sticky (in all the sections) letting everyone check what offsets work on each model & what spacers work otherwise....

I`ve also wondered about the modern Fiats which have bigger steels, especially the commercials which have up to 16"`s I think, but alot are joint ventures with Citroen/Vauxhall/Ford/Suzuki etc, so what are their PCD`s?

Re: Steel wheels

A lot of the Tipo/Tempra had 14" steel wheels - as did the Bravo/Brava. I think only a few Tipo had 13" wheels. Much, much more likely to have 14s.

Couple years ago I gave away 3 sets of 14" steel wheels off Marea/Bravo.

Re: Steel wheels

Tipo 1400 (basic model), 1600 DGT and 1.6SX - which are all the Tipo models I've seen that come with steel wheels - were all 13" as standard. I know the Tipo looks a lot better on 14s - it's a large hatchback - but oddly, most in NZ seem to have come with 13s and big old 175/70 tyres.

I think 1994-1999 Punto 75 or 90 models are the best source for 14" steel wheels to fit an Uno.

Re: Steel wheels

All my Tipo's and Bravo/Marea were diesels... might explain the 14s.

Re: Steel wheels

I have four brand new 14" steel wheels that are supposedly off a Punto. They are a Fiat fitment (they fitted both the Punto and my Uno) but as I scrapped the Punto I bought them for I never got round to using them.

As above I know that low spec mk1 Puntos had 13" steels but the higher spec models came with 14".

Re: Steel wheels

Any Tipo/Bravo/Brava/Marea/Punto that came with 256mm brakes (1.6 and above in Tipo/Bravo(a) range) will have needed at least 14s to fit the brakes under.

Re: Steel wheels

I just checked the Multipla over the road, it has 15 inch steels and they are 4 stud, I assume 4x98 as its all Fiat & not 1/2 Citroen etc
