anybody here having problems removing the steering wheel mk2? just spent 2hours prying off the wheel bolt (success!) next job is just to pull off the steering wheel! which is a pain im still at it at this moment. i smell like wd40! is there any trick at this? cant use my hammer since it would ruin the threads.

if so, then just pul and wiggle as hard as u can and it should pop off! might have to be quite forcefull though!

yes bolt is undone. would not budge! just woke up got so tired.............

put the bolt back on a few turns, if you yank the wheel hard and it comes off you might hit yourself. As dunc said, just wiggle and it should work free.

as i got frustrated it came out. almost hit myself. got in a position that i just wanna break the friggin wheel just to release stress and it came out. thanks alot...

now it's too dark to do the damn wires.. f**k! but will manage sooner or later :slayer:

It might be worth giving the splines a smear of grease when you put the new one on!

clean up the whole thing.. just did, just in case for the next generation.
