Good day all

I have a few general questions that I'd like to wrap into one, and not being able to find something that I need after searching the forums. This is regarding my 1993 Fiat Uno Fire 1100 3 door:

(A) Where exactly does one put gearbox oil into the vehicle? I've had the car for a bit now, and haven't topped it up, to my knowledge. The only things I top up is the engine oil, coolant, wiper bottle, and the brake fluid reservoir.

(B) Where can I get a free PDF outline for my car make regarding the gearbox? Google and other search engines were not my friend, since everything I investigated eventually turned out to be either for the wrong car (mislabelling is not your friend), or not free at all (got to love in a not-a-love-at-all way for conversion from ZAR to UK pound).

(C) Is the heat duct pipe from the top of the exhaust manifold to the other inlet hole at the bottom front of the air filter intake box necessary? It tends to rattle a helluva lot (its functionally a loose pipe), and is quite audbile. Would like to get rid of it and close the hole up in the filter box, if possible - unless it is needed. I believe it is meant to assist starting in cold climates? (my climate in the south is definitely not cold on average!!!)

(D) Is it possible to fit another type of seat to the Uno, without extensive remodification, or as little as possible? I am not a fan of the fold up-and-over seats (had to replace once so far, and get repairs - cost racks up on seats) and feel that the seats are just shoddily made in general, especially due to stress cracks in the thin pressed metal. I was thinking of Ford Fiesta (Lite) seats, that recline, and are more comfortable and robust. Or, what seats are recommended? I'm looking for a decent reclinable seat that still allows access to the rear passenger compartment.

(E) I wish to know what the capacity of the engine bay is, due to the thought whether it is possible to replace the engine with a bigger capacity engine. This little engine is quite robust, but can't get hands on a 1.4 turbo engine - and my engine is just that, little! I've always liked the Astra engines, especially the 2L version - the auto-idle feature is a real perk and nifty - plus lots of go. This is more a general curiousity than actual means to accomplish it now (aka broke). :)

This isn't urgent need-to-know stuff (well, knowing where to top the gearbox oil is!), but it is interesting for me to know, especially since I'm getting a lot of conflicting opinions at home on some issues.
