| My hydraulic clutch on my 92 1108cc Uno 60S is starting to play up in that every now and again it goes straight to the floor with no pressure. It only lasts for about 2 pumps and is fine again although it is biting now very low. Checked the fluid levels, cylinder and gasket they are ok. The car has done about 70k miles. Would bleeding the fuid and replacing it help? Or does anyone think the clutch plate could be on its way out. I am loath to spend too much money on it as it only cost me £500 over 2 years ago and is almost worthless now but is a great little work horse with a super effecient engine. Any views much appreciated. ps how much would it cost to replace the clutch anyway Thanks Pete

| Re: Hydraulic clutch very soft sounds like the Master Cylinder might be going to me, Either that or it might be the Slave cylinder. Bleeding it will help fix it temporarily but its not a lasting solution, you can get a repair kit to patch it up but in my experience they dont last much longer anyway, mines lasted about an extra 3 months before i had to replace the master cylinder completely. Hope that helps F R O $ T Y
