Good day all

A big hello to everyone from the n00b here! It's great to finally have gotten off my backside and joined up! Been following the forums for a while now, been great!

Anyways, a brief insight as to what's currently plaguing my car.

I drive an Uno 100 Fire 3 - door, 1993 model. The car has been jerking recently, especially under load. It has gone in for a service, but the car is still jerking. The plugs were changed; the vacuum advancer is new; new distributor leads; new distributor cap and rotor. The leads, cap and rotor were recently done separately from the service (afterwards) as a systemic testing of possible things, to try resolve said jerking.

The car tends to jerk whilst under load (so uphills etc), but the funny thing is that it tends to jerk more when warm (the temperature gauge between the lower quarter and half-way mark), as opposed to when starting up and getting to said temperature range.

We've also had a new bendix gear fitted (since starter is hideously expensive for us), due to the starter not kicking over previously. It was starting pretty well after said replacement, until recently, when it started to give fecal matter when starting.

Are there any more steps to check regarding the spark circuit? Also, what else could cause jerking of the car?

Kindest regards
Triatium

Hi there guys

An update, got car back from mechanic today, he replaced the ignition coil, which seems to have done the trick. The car doesn't display any of the symptoms whilst I drove it around today, but the weekend will tell.
