Posts: 18 Thanks: 0 Trader Rating: 0 | Re: fiat uno turbo ie 1988 thanks for the answer... 1. yes i removed the overboost wires 2. the car can sustain bigger boost than 0.6..i'm running now with 0.7-0.8 bar Thing is: i know the car with standard turbo makes full bost at 3500 rev in full throttle....now ...in my car when i tested it a few days ago did this: full thotle 4th gear 3500 revs...the needle in the boost indicator goes to 1 bar..an thes drops to 0.7-0.8...this could could happen if i have a bad pipe or something ..or my opinion is that the needle goes to 1 bar from inertia..when boost builds up rapidly in ..and then it settles ( the needle) wher it shoul be at...in my case 0.7-0.8 bar. Normally i could solve this problem with a better( newer) and more accurate boost gauge..but i don't have one at this moment. I am currious did'n anibody else have this "problem"...all the needles in this dashboard have big ineritia..and i don't blaim then ..they are what 20 years old.. ...i am pretty sure it's just the needles inertia that shows me 1 bar..i do not thing i reached 1 bar yet..i raised the boost level very slow( on my boost controler)..i couldnt have reached 1 bar...

Posts: 18 Thanks: 0 Trader Rating: 0 | Re: fiat uno turbo ie 1988 this saturday the club i'm in: MAK Motorsport organises a race in the parking lot of a hipermarket: we will have 4 tracks ..to complete in the shortest time possible. and in the finish 1 hour of drift & freestyle .. i can hardly wait..

Posts: 18 Thanks: 0 Trader Rating: 0 | Re: fiat uno turbo ie 1988 from whitch 1500 engine do i want a camshaft. i heard some 1500 camshafts kind of fit on my engine ..for a better "filling with air" anybody know ? pls helm.. ps ai have VIN number from an 1500, 55 kw engine fiat..is this the engine i want is this engine's camshaft good for my engine ?
