I did wonder if the 1400 UT lump was the same dimensionally as a 1600 Tipo/Tempra/Dedra lump & how easy it`d be to change the compression ratio & bung the turbo on....couldnt be too hard to make it work.. in theory anyway!
We all know the FIRE lump, we all know the twin cam family, but little is spoken about all the other families of Fiat/Lancia lumps & their interchangability..
And heres me with a mint 50,000m Uno 1100 60S & a mint 70,000m Tempra 2.0 twin cam sitting outside... hmmmm
It would be sacralige to kill one to `boost` the other though, in fact it`d be a shame to change either of them significantly... to me it is anyway.. if only I had less attachment to them... *sigh*
What I did notice was the position of cerveza`s distributor... my Tempra one is on the front cam, what car did you get the engine from?
