Fiat Uno Dashboard

I am currently looking for a dashboard for my 1989 Fiat Uno Fire ..... Around 4 yrs some bastards stole my sound system and have broken the centre piece of my dashboard. It's been without it ever since. So now I am thinking maybe it's time to fix it up. I have no heater in my car, no cigi lighter and I had to modify a drawer under my glove compartment to fix my CD player. Can someone help out maybe I'de be able to buy one online ? Unfortunately there are none available locally.

Re: Fiat Uno Dashboard

For a 1989 Uno, I'd say you'll be looking for a MK1 dash..

I have A Full MK2 dashboard including the centre fan console unit, which is separate, and I have A MK1 dashboard, but no centre console.

Not sure if the MK2 fans will fit.

I'm located Near Manchester and open to offers.

Hard to say for certain; Mk2 production started in March 1989

The easy differentiation for the interior is that the Mk2 has round knobs for the heater, where the Mk1 has horizontal-sliding levers.

It sounds to me like just the centre fascia (the heater controls housing and radio housing) is missing. That is an easy part to remove - a quick job that does not require the rest of the dash to come out - so good luck! The knobs come off the heater first.

If it is a Mk1, I discovered that a heat gun (or hairdrier, etc) makes the job a lot easier - just warm up the little triangular knobs, doesn't take much to soften them until they pull off the heater levers easily - don't pry with screwdrivers as that marks the fascia trim!

Also be aware that Uno interiors exist in both brown and black.
