(G) 1.4 turbo wiring loom

is there any one out there that has a wiring loom for the 1400 turbo i think mine has had it as it will not start let us know cheers

Repairing is a lot easier than replacing, check all the connector ends, esp engine bay, i had to replace the majority of mine due to failed connectors and fiat rotten wire, get a multimeter or simple electric tester and start at the prob ( sparks) and work your way back, also helps if you can read the haynes manual wiring diagrams, which i learnt in the mornings on the bog, does the fuel pump buzz, (prime) but no spark? Ant!

(And it's so true - many an automotive problem has been solved whilst reading a Haynes/ workshop wiring diagram on the bog )

get chas to come down with his multi meter, lock him and turbo in garage for 2 days, and lo....one working car with no electrical gremlins

occasionally fed him pizza and beer

i have had an auto electrition have a look at he dont know here is what the problem is

sometimes get a spark then dont
fuel pump buzzs
but the injectors are not pulsing (putting in fuel)
engine turns over
i have changed the most common connecters and plugs

so if u can help or come down and look i am on junction 9 of the M25 well right next to it

i am a semi skilled mechanic so i do know a lot about these cars i just cant get my head round electrics
