Uno Tie MK1 MK2 - Rims

Hello.

I'm looking to lower my Cento and give it some new rims.

So far no Sparco Cromodora for sale around here, so meanwhile I decided to make some experiences.

I'm getting a set of these:

They'll become anthracite, black or white... not sure yet.

The rims come from a MK1 Uno Tie. Will thye be a direct fit on my Cinquecento? I've heard that MK1s and MK2s (apparently same rims as the Sporting) have different offsets compared to the Cento, is this right?

Just to be more precise do this rims the same ET (or what ET do they have) as the ones I got in my Cento (standart)?

Re: Uno Tie MK1 MK2 - Rims

We tried mine on a mates Seiento the other day they were very tight on the back, will probably need 5mm spacers to be safe. You'll also need a 165 wide tyres maximum.

Matt

Re: Uno Tie MK1 MK2 - Rims

I fitted a pair of Uno steel wheels onto the back of my 899cc Cinq last year with no problems at all. I drove it around like that so I could get it MOT'd as the original Cinq tyres were a bit perished

I can assume you shouldn't have too many problems using Uno Turbo (Speedline) alloys, but do check for fouling on lock at the front.

Re: Uno Tie MK1 MK2 - Rims

slightly related, but a tiny bit Off topic: if your alloys are a bit buckled get yourself a nice heavy/hefty copper hide hammer and smack crap out of them until they are round again, works 9 times out of 10.

(the 1 in 10th time is the time the rim cracks...)
