it's time to take a more considered and methodical approach to making the tub better......bring in my secret weapon....chas!!!

a man so patient he will spend hours with his multimeter trouble shooting the tiniest fault, rectifying issues that are so difficult i'd be reaching for a hammer, and knows the uno dashboard inside out, blindfolded, upside, and that was how he gets in behind it!

anyway the results so far, after a marathon 9 hours session yesterday "yeah chas could you pop over for a quick look at.......")

what i haven't photo's yet and will try tonight, is the most stunning bit of his work: the infamous dash fibre-optic lights!!! i have never owned an uno that had them working, they do now!!! looked so cool at 11pm last night!!!

And as I just said in a PM to Jai, we spent about 9 hours sorting out all this little bits and pieces on the Tub and everything worked and got sorted. I got home at 11pm, shut the drivers door on my 70SX while the window was open and...

The bloody window came off its runner and fell into the bottom of the door

I was wondering what you guys were up to, while I was working on the Uno...

As you know, Chas, that's not 'off the runner' and more just fallen off the white plastic peg that goes through the glass. And as you also no-doubt know, the best fix is to drill a small hole through the peg and put in a split pin + washer. At least it's one of those fixes you only have to do once - unlike the electric window motor/switches themselves
