No idea! In standard tune they push out about 68 bhp, though with some modification involving camshaft, porting, exhaust and carburation 90bhp is quite easily attainable. Beyond that you're probably getting into race tuned engines with lumpy camshafts and twin Delortos or Solex's (like these - http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...MEWA:IT&ih=012). I've heard of race engines pushing out around 130bhp, and I'm think more may have been had with some out and out race cars.

Of course, then there's the 1301cc Uno Turbo engine. Jai's UT recently pushed out 137bhp on a rolling road, and with a few choice mods could be hitting 150bhp. With more extensive mods up to 200bhp can be had, though this will now take serious work and money to get to these levels.

Versatile little engine isn't it!

I think that was because he used a 1.6L bottom-end from a Tipo - if his name was Jens, that is...

But scaling it down to 1300 would still be impressive. I've had a ride in a South African Uno Turbo that had over 250bhp on the dyno plot. That was a rocket. Also the power delivery makes life hard for the front tyres...
