| Dashboard removal headache!!! Right.... well my mk1 uno turbo reshell has started and come to a halt.. All i need to do is remove this bloody dashboard.... ive removed everything from the intrument pod to the heating system.. the two screws im after are the ones im sure everyone has got stuck on at some point, which are the side top, front window ones, if that makes sence.. the imposible ones... ![]() im very close to getting the angle grinder out to remove this thing but think i should practice on this one so im confident on the next one.. im sure theres a trick to it but i just cant work it out...???

| Classic Uno Obsessive | Re: Dashboard removal headache!!! I feel your pain and know the predicament well ![]() However, there is a way of getting the dashboard out! The secret is to NOT force it else you risk breaking the clips. Also, there are no screws at the top left and right corners, instead there are two plastic lugs that are a push fit into some sprung loaded captive inserts. It's kind of hard to explain so I did a couple of threads with pictures detailing dashboard removal. Once you see how it's done it's quite easy, if a little fiddly. The threads to read are below: http://www.fiatforum.com/uno-technic...dashboard.html http://www.fiatforum.com/uno-technic...d-removal.html
