That doesn't look too bad really, I've been welding up some similar rust on my Strada so should be fairly easy to recover esp. if you can get repair panels. Etherway if it's not 100% perfect the covers will hopefully help to hide the reapirs. I presume you striped the paint for the photos??

Making progress - prior to gringing down

you'd think so, but no. those arches are exactly as is, the bellend who sprayed the car up just went nuts all over it......

No metal moths hiding under my arches jai!! throttlepump can you not get a repair panel for your strada arch, if not you can get universal ones that you trim and suit to match, with a little fettling they work well, ive used them on loads of old beauties in the past when a repair panel cant be sought, Ant!

Oh, not much prep, I need a respray on my car but hope to do a bit of a better job than the bloke that did yours!!! Mind Chas told me at Autoitalia that you only paid £150 for it so you can't really complain. I wish I could find a MK1 UT for £150.

What happened to the red UT you own/owned??

Too late, already cut out and repaired with smallish sections. Just building it up with a bit of filler. I did think about the repair panel route but decided to save a bit of cash. Doesn't look too bad now either.

ahhh! now!!! well....you see, it's like this.....i had a set on the quick red one for years....with "www.turbocollective.com" on the banner bit.....this one gets the same but with this site on there....

Nice! when my mate said he'd make me some plates with 3d and abarth badges i didnt expect much, but i love em, er well the misses does her name on the bottom, paula's uno turbo!!! ha ha Ant!
