Punto 55/ Cinq Sporting 1108cc will physically be a straight swap. You can also use the existing 999c Uno ECU and throttle body.
Punto 60 1242cc SPi will physically drop in but you will need a spacer for the exhaust manifold to downpipe join. This is because the 1242 has a taller block than the smaller FIREs. You can also use the existing Uno ECU and throttle body BUT it will probably not flow enough air/ fuel to get maximum benefit from the enlarged capacity. You will now be looking at wiring in the Punto ECU and also adapting the engine wiring to run the Punto throttle body. Note that one member on here (Jason45) has fitted a Punto 60 engine into his Uno and I *think* has fitted the corresponding ECU and throttle body.
Punto 75 1242cc MPi requires the complete Punto ECU system, thottle body, injectors and wiring to run along with 75 fuel pump. You cannot fit the Uno throttle body to this system as it MUST run MPi being a 'dry' inlet manifold.
Punto 85/ Sporting/ Bravo(a)/ Stilo 1242 16v MPi - As per Punto 75
Panda 100hp/ Bravo(a)/ Stilo 1.4 16v MPi - As per Punto 85/ 75, BUT this engine uses a fly by wire throttle system. Some people have fitted the 1242 16v throttle system to get round this.
There are the options available to you. Take your pick!
