Punto GT and Uno turbo

This is probably a stupid question. I have been offered an uno turbo very cheap. Aguy at work bought it to put the turbo and the inlet manifold off it in his dihatsu (i think its a dihatsu anyway) and he has offered me the uno for 250 quid!! But i would have to source a turbo and an inlet manifold for it and was wondering if the punto GT Turbo is the same or would fit???

Cheers Josh

Re: Punto GT and Uno turbo

As far as I'm aware, the Punto 1.4 GT engine is virtually the same as that in the mk2 Uno Turbo 1.4. I *think* you can use the Punto GT manifold and turbo but you need to double check with those in the know.

BTW, I though you sold your 1.4 mk2 5 door?
