(G) The new UNO

Hey guys been browsing the net and came across fiats possible design for the new fiat uno turbo it's a 2 cylinder 900cc engine putting out 105 bhp, still like the older styles better bloody horrendous head lamps but hey thats just my thoughts what do you's think?

The article says the new Uno will fit in between the Panda and Punto. I guess their line-up will be:

500
Panda
Uno
Punto
Bravo

That's a lot of small-ish cars for one manufacturer.

precisely what fiat are known for, and were once brilliant at.

apparently the new uno would be based on the mazda 2 but itl b the more stylish version.

mazda? odd one, although they are under the ford umbrella, and fiat poland are going to build the new ka on the same lines as the panda and 500 at tychy, haven't seen anything to indicate a tie up to share the 2s platform...got the link to the article?

i read the mazda story in auto express i think it was a few months back. same underpinnings but the more sportier choice with more drastic design sounds gooood to me. that uno just posted is the current version sold in brazil etc.looks sooo dull.

so the uno has been in production for 25 years!! not bad for little italian car eh!! Ant!

Mazda is also under the Ford umbrella so it's possible the Uno will be based on the Mazda 2..nothing to say the next Ka will be as well.

Can't wait, if only to see an Uno badge on a new car!
