Coming down a road turned a left turn, fox/dog/cat ran out, lifted off throttle, arse went to say hello to the face and front right wheel (That how quick the arse came round!) went into a kerb then onto mud and the car went over twice i think!
Climed out through the no exsistant windscreen and got slapped in the face the wipr blade! lol

**** that's a mess. Glad to har you are ok. Have you been to hospital to get the wound cleaned and dressed properly, looks nasty definately don't want that getting infected. On second thoughts avoid the hospital because it probably would get infected there and go see the doctor just to get yourself checked out.

I think you might have written her off! Put her on ebay, some crazy fool would probably buy her for a couple hundred notes.

LMAO funny you should say that mate

It was the 1st time ive seen underneath it since april 9th!!

Yeah im tip-top lads!
Cant let a thing like this bring me down!

Well, at least i can go to uni in september with some knowledge of how a car reacts in a crash! lol
And build a safer, faster, better handling little beasty that is my black uno!

The stupid thing is that my mate who i called when it happend (i was just with him 20 mins earlier), crashed his yellow MGZR into the arse of a polo (the shape with the indicatort inside the brake light, like mk5 golfs!) on the same road only like 10 hours after i rolled my uno!!

Gota laugh at the irony of two future motorsport engineering students crashing on the same day on the same road

Whole offside headlight of his MGZR is stoved in! lol
Hopfully it get written off!
2wd cossie time!

jesus, glad you're pretty much in one piece, i would not have thought an uno would be that strong, and stilll recognisable as one too!

looks like it's time for that mk1 to step up and hit the road?

Ouch i bet that hurt

Glad you are ok.

Have you had your knee looked at? When my coupe rolled i still had glass in my arm over a year later and had to have a op to remove it. So best get checked out just incase you might have something lodged in it

Damn the Uno was unlucky but on the flip side you were VERY lucky. You can replace a car (almost) but you can't replace your body.

By the way, advertising that you're breaking your Uno is wrong - it should be in the classifieds

Biz it's a huge relief that you have no major injuries - The Uno is comprehensively written-off! Even the tailgate dented

But who cares - as Dunc says, another shell can be found. If you'd broken a limb that would have been far worse. Just out of interest, what was it that cut your knee? (i.e. was it something exposed under the dashboard, or broken plastic etc?) I'm mainly interested for the sake of there being various things added to my Uno and wondering if I should remove them for safety.

The slap in the face with the wiper could have been nasty - but maybe it's as weak as the wiper in my Uno is (I think I could stop it with one hand)

Again, a huge relief... thanks for keeping us up to date and showing that you'll live for another FIAT...

-Alex

I think a roll-cage is required in the Mk1! Think another roll and you'd have had the roof collapse in by the looks of things.
