Re: My Uno turbo

Looking good! How much rust do you think you have? It looks virtually rust free in the pictures?

Rust area's are odd on this one compared to all the other uno t's i've owned before. The rear panel had a huge hole in it,tops of sills are gone but the bottom & floor is mint, scuttle panel is rotten through, front wings around the indicators, bottoms of the doors on the inside have big holes & weirdest of all is the roof channels have started to rust. I've bought all new parts to replace & i've treated & removed a lot of the rust so far.
It has 69,000mls with all mot's to prove & i'm the third owner. It's going to look original in white with a full respray with original late rare raised centre 13" uno t wheels & dropped 60mm all round.
It'll be finished after Christmas, fingers crossed

Pics of rust, pics of welding, pics of primered panels, pics of stripped out interiors etc. etc. etc. They're all good and tell a story so please post as many as you can and keep us up to date. And good luck with the refurb! Have a look at Ants! mk2 UnoT to see how clean and shiny you have to get yours by the way
