Hi,
I have an Uno 1100cc (South African model), its fitted with a Weber 32 TLF carb. The problem is that of late it's been misfiring under acceleration. This feels like fuel starvation as if the manual coke is pulled out when it's misfiring it accelerates smoothly. I've overhauled the carb, fitted a new fuel filter, cleaned and re gapped the plugs, checked the air filter, adjusted the mixture and timing, I even replaced the whole distributor about four months ago but that was for a different problem. I'm beginning to get stuck for solutions, so I'm hoping someone else has had this problem and knows how to fix it!
Thanks
Andy

I'm having one with the same specs, now on garage for the same reasons ( and obviously more serious ) The problem must be with the carb / timing / distributor / etc, will update after my visit to the garage and discussions with my mech friend.

Hi,

I found the problem on my Uno. After I fitted new plugs I noticed a very small hole in the number three plug lead cap. It turned out that this was tracking the spark ground when under load and causing the misfire. A new set of plug leads cured the problem.
