Hi anybody got any tips on what to replace the brake drum retaining bolts with when fitting aftermarket alloy wheels? My uno has a locating pin and a normal bolt in the drum and I dont fancy just using the wheel bolts to hold the drum on.

they should go straight on, but if the pin fouls use a bolt, when fitting the wheels, are they 98pcd cos most aftermarket wheels are 100 pcd, like mine and you have to use wobbly bolts, as the dont alighn 100% I found it quite hard to source the wheels on the UT, but settled on these, for the misses!

then surely there's no way of getting anything else to hold it all on...

Though i dont see the issues with removing the bolts, i have done in past with no ill consequences :)

end of the day your wheel bolts all come out then the loose drum will be least of your worries imo
