| Been giving it a thought... I have very slowly been building my X for some serious HP, but the problem is the tranny. I was told by another X head who has done the swap... He used a Uno turbo motor and tranny in his x and it worked out great... This coming year, my X will no longer be required to pass any type of emmissions testing and I would like to make it very fast... and since I am getting a completely new wiring harness from painless wiring, changing from the dual 40 DCOEs to injection won't be too bad... I have been thinking about it and have some questions.... Is there a preffered year for performance? Are the engine/tranny combos easily available? Are they reliable under performance driving conditions? Is there aftermarket add on parts for more HP? How much would the complete motor/tranny/wiring harness/brain box normally run from a salvage yard? Would anyone be interested in helping me do this? since they never brought them to the US, I need to import it... Anything else I should be asking? Thanks for any and all help!!
