Question foglamps

ey guys, finding an uno foglight here in our place is suicide. i admit that i'm never gonna get one. mostly japan made cars and parts are the ones always available. does anyone know foglights from any other cars that will fit to my uno45? anyway, it's some kind of a base version so i diddnt have foglamps.

Re: foglamps

the 45 bumper wouldnt have any pre cast holes in it to take any sort of foggy, so your best bet is to get an alternative. cut some holes, then you can put almost any foggy in there, some simple brackets, and wire it in to the loom,

for instance:

http://www.extremeautoaccessories.co...p?section=1178

alternatively, look for 80's to early 90's era japanese autos, almost any of them carrying foggies are bound to be square/rectangular, helping to fit into the unos boxy looks, if you can get a spare square switch to replace the blanked off one on the lower right instrument pod, will help it blend in as well

Re: foglamps

ooooooooooooooh it's a mk2! i was thinking mk1, was looking at the loveliness that is the mk1 45s that chas owns earlier in the week...

any way...mk2 very angled bumpers, and an appropriatly angled foggy to go in too, gonna be tough to match up and smooth in anything other than the original type lights, don't have much experience of mk2's, i'm a bit older schooler when it comes to unos.

anyone else?

Re: foglamps

I dont think they'll fit !

well if u need a look at the original fiat ones , then go to www.fiat.co.in

go to spares and accessories and look under uno section, u can still have them in india !!

Well it's not an ancient car here anyway but people dare driving them around can be counted on fingers, these days!!!!

Re: foglamps

don't think mk1's will fit straight into a mk2 bumper, the shape of the lenses are diff, mk'2 are far more flush if i remember correctly

Re: foglamps

@numero_Uno

Hi I m from Pakistan & owns Uno 1.7D same chassis as yours. Here in pakistan its also quite difficult to find parts for euorpean cars but luckly orginal fog lamps of Uno are available here. The taiwan's brand Depo cost around 50US$ while the italian Brand Correlo costs around 80US$. So if u r intrested then i can help u buying them.
