| Spinning front seats Just a quickie, the manual of my Ulysse mk2 Eleganza says I should be able to spin the front seats to create a "lounge layout" with the front seats facing row 2. I'm jiggered if I can find the little handle under the front seats which lets me do this. Is it only a feature in the Prestigio spec?

| Re: Spinning front seats Hi, This was an option on the Eleganza, was probably standard on the Prestigio. I've got it on mine.....have only ever used it once or twice and to be honest it's a bit of a waste of time as to spin them round you have to open the doors, so if it's raining outside and you want to park up and have a conference or whatever one does when in this configuration then you will get wet. Also the drivers seat has to be in the upright position or it will not clear the steering wheel. If you don't have it I don't think you will miss it. Lou

| Re: Spinning fron seats Cheers Lou, looks like I don't have these fitted then. My wife and I are taking the Ulysse on a camping trip at Easter using a basic lightweight tent. The current plan is to remove all the rear seats and (don't laugh) line the floor with a mattress from an old sofa bed. If the weather turns rotten, we'll decamp from the tent to the Ulysse and use it as an impromptu campervan to keep warm and dry and get a half-decent night's sleep. The rotated seats would have helped 'open-up' the internal space but it's not the end of the world I guess.

| Re: Spinning fron seats I think the trick with removal/replacement is to get as close to the seat as you can. I couldn't shift a thing standing outside but found kneeling directly behind each seat made things lots easier. I only bought my 2004 Ulysse a couple of weeks ago and found the middle seat very difficult to adjust backwards and forwards. After tipping it up I found that one of the sprung arms (the ones with the runner-wheel at the bottom) has been bent quite badly either during production or by the previous owner so it does not sit 'true' in the runner and interferes with the mechanism. Worth checking yours isn't the same and also making sure that nothing has fallen into the runner-track at the same time. I've currently got three seats wrapped in cloths and sitting on (very strong) shelving in the garage. Four seats and a BIG boot is perfect for our day-to-day use.
