| Fluctuating power giving me jip Hi, I've a 2001 2.0 JTDS Ulysse and it's giving me jip. It has been in and out of garages/dealerships and still i have problems with fluctuating power surges. When Driving say around 70 on the carriageway and decide to to a quick pass the throttle just won't repond and what power you do have is all you have, next time away she goes no problem. Generally it's when you change gear but if you can do a quick change without too much use of the throttle it apears to work OK. This can also be a nightmare when coming to a long gradient and when you need the extra throttle to maintain your speed, well nothing , the throttle does nothing. I've been having the engine warning light coming off and on for ages now and the garages have changed the main fuel filter, air filter, airflow meter and cleaned the fuel filter in the regulator. This appears to have solved the warning light, fingers crossed but still i HAVE NO IDEA when I'm driving when I get or don't get power. I was thinking it could be accelerator pedal sensor ????? but it does not show up in the diagnostic checks, Has anyone had a similar problem. Sid

| Re: Fluctuating power giving me jip Hi Guys, I read every message in the forum to try and find a clue to my problem with my JTD. Your problem sounds similar and I hope you might have a solution that you would share with me. Our car has been in the (French) garage for 3 months now. each time they tell us its fixed we go to colect and its not! I am an ex mechanic who no longer has time, tools or inclination, but it looks like I am going to have to sort this myself. So I hope you might have some news for me. Many thanks, Ted
