| heating question Just a question about heating / climate control, no software stuff, sorry to be so 20th century ;) Everything is fine, temps are all at 21C, cabin is nice and cosy. Then I stop for a couple of minutes, switch engine off, go into a shop or something. Come back, drive off, all displays are normal. But what's this? The system is now blowing cold air at me! As if the heating isn't working and I'm just getting air straight from outside! Anyone else experienced this? felix

| Re: heating question I have an identical problem on a Ulysse Eleganza. The dealer has tried changing the a/c control panel, but no improvement. If you find a fix can you let me know?

| It was broken, honest | Re: heating question Hi, This is a known problem on the Ulysse (& other version). Have a look at www.eurovan2.com and search for the problem. I think it means a software update (not the RT3) for the bodycomputer. Andy

| Re: heating question My dealer eventually solved this problem; after changing the main control panel and dismantling the front of the cabin to access the various air con parts, they discovered that the sensor for reading the cabin temperature (mounted adjacent to the central RT3 display panel I think) was installed back to front, resulting in the temperature behind the display controlling the air con. At first, this temperature is low, so air con gives you heat. As the car warms up, the sensor eventually reads high (it is affected by engine compartment heat, etc) and the air con tries to cool the car. Hope this helps any with similar problems - it took about five extended visits to the dealer to solve!!
