Swapping injection pump

Hello,
My 1.9TD just had a top overhaul. My mechanic swapped the BOSCH injection pump with the LUCAS brand. Anyone knows the difference between the two, or which ones better ? I felt almost no difference in performance but not sure of fuel consumption.
