| Tailgate lock Ulysse 1.9 tds, 1996 It started with an annoying flickering, 'door open', warning lamp. After some investigation it was clear the problem was with the tailgate. Now it is virtually on all the time, when driving and consequently a problem with locking the vehicle, (as it thinks the talgate is open). It will lock eventually (after a few slams). Even more scary is that the vehicle can unlock itself after a period of time!!!!! Any help will be much appreciated......;)

 | Re: Tailgate lock Remove the inner side of the tailgate(a bunch af plastic screws and clips..) Then inside on right lock, there is a little switch. That's the problem..(crap switch) Just pull i out off the lock and and jam it with some duck tape and the "stop" warning light stops flickering and your central lock will be fine again
