auto on eleganza

Hi my ulysse 2.0 auto was delivered to my dealer today ready for collection next week but noticed that the details around the auto gear box where different to the pics in the Brochure. In the brochure i got to show me what the inside off the auto looked like as no dealer carries them, to expensive to have as a demo car they said, it has crome trim round black plastic with with the 1,2,D,park ect printed on it with gear leaver in the center but on mine it has the same trim as the Peugeot. Same crome trim but instead of dark plastic in the center it is aluminum not complaning as it looks a lot better but it looks to me that when they run out of things they nick some off the Peugeot line. Also armed with the info off this site ask my dealer about the sat nav being reg and within one day i was told that they would set me up and reg the sat nav and phone before collection so here is fingers crossed.

Hi,

My Auto has the chrome with the black insert with text, looks pretty good. The thing is Fiat change things a lot without telling people, so it may actually be the new type of fascia.

You will like the auto, it is great. When do get it and how come it takes so long to have it ready for collection or did you want to wait. Mine was delivered to the dealer in the morning and they delivered it to my house in the afternoon.

Make sure you get all the paperwork, manuals etc.

Poggy

I did not want to collect it until the 12th as it came a lot soon then i thought and the 12th was the best date for me. When i first order it in november was told that it would be a sixteen week wait but came in about 6 weeks so not bad for fiat must be on a christmas bonus. I choose it in silver looks great with the roof bars just hope that the dealer gets it right about reg the sat nav but he sounds like he knows what he is doing. What is it like on fuel it says in the tech data that it does about 30 mpg but i always think that this is a bit optimistic. Have to say it makes my old car look very dated after seeing it the other day getting back in my vauxhall zafira was like going back to the 1980's and three years ago i thought it was great as two air bags and aircon where luxuries. Be great to see in three years time how dated the new ulysse will make this ulysse's look.

Hi,

The fuel economy was really bad to start with but it improved after the first 1000 miles. It does about 25mpg round town and about 30mpg if you drive carefully and do some long runs. Considering it is big and automatic it is not bad really.

Engine is nice & smooth though.
