I have a 96 Ulysse 1.9tds, The 5amp fuse for the dash / instrument lights keeps blowing. Has anyone any ideas why this may be happening?
Also the reversing lights hav'nt worked for ages, the bulbs are OK, is there a switch on the gearbox?
any help on these matters would be appreciated.[?]

Yes theres a switch, you need to bridge it out if lights work switch is knacked, if not another fault. are you sure its a 5 amp, usually dash lights are 10 amp on most vehicles.

If the 5A blows and it is the right size, then there is a fault. If it is a direct short, then a 10A would probably blow without melting any wires, but if it is a more obscure fault then you may make it worse. Get meter and measure it down to earth to see if there is a short.
