voice commands

Is anyone a voice command maestro?

When I say 'navigator' followed by 'address book', I get the message 'The directory is empty'. Yet I have about 10 destinations stored. What gives?

You need to make sure you have made them voice recordings in the directories.

um, how do you do that?

Hi,

Go into the main menu, select directory and then I think it is maintain directory. You will then be able to select a name and then edit it. In the edit screen, you need to rotate the dial until it highlights the black dot in the middle of the screen. Press the dial in and it will ask you to record a name using the built in microphone. It will then ask you to do it again to confirm it.

When this is done, if you press the end of the left stalk and say "call" followed by the name you recorded it will say "Call in progress to "name".
