Hi, I'm a newbie here. The sidelights on our 1997 2.0 Ulysee have decided to come on all by themselves. Hubby is an old school mechanic and has tried everything he can think of to get them off, relays, fuses etc. Has anyone had this problem ? Only way to get them off is to disconnect the battery.

Ummm... if pulling the fuse for the side lights doesn't disable them, there must be a short somewhere.
Is the fuse box wet?
Otherwise, have a look in your manual and make sure there isn't a setting to enable side lights for parking, such as "turn of ignition, turn on sidelights and apply indicator left or right" or "turn on sidelights, push in ignition and turn one further step past off"
