Hi all please help if you can it's really doing my head in, I bought my great car in may on ebay and on the way home I was chuffed to bits at how it ran everything was good, handling really impressed with torque, speed and acceleration for such a big motor.

Until that is about 20 minutes into trip as I put my foot down on reaching the motorway it went like s#it off a stick until I'd been flooring it a few minutes when turbo clocked off and rest of trip home was crap thinking I've bought a dpf pup.

Since that initial drive home I have come to love my car, it drives great around town and turbo works fine, even on a run turbo works fine unless I drift over 3000 rpm a few time and then the turbo goes off and it's like it's in limp mode.

Keeping at about 2800 rpm and it drives as normal sits at 70 on the motorway and turbo works fine, the engine management light is not working (makes me doubt previous owner) but no warnings of any kind flash up on screen.

I feel it must be a sensor or some such, at first I thought temperature related but not so sure now.

Please help I want to keep the car we just went to Blackpool and back for the weekend with just having to stop when I strayed over the 3000 rpm a couple of times and turn engine off for a couple of minutes then turbo works again and it's like driving a new car (only done 89000 miles)

Thanks in hope Arty.

Hi, :)
best to get it plugged into diagnostics,
see what is stored - then attempt to clear it, ;)

THEN you can attempt to do a re-learn of the engine ECU

see if all the check lights then work.:)
