First post so hello there.

I have a Ulysse 220 [1994-2002] MPV 1.9TD Removed all back seats and use for long range (1000 mile) camping trips with my son.

Done lots of work replacing aging bits and done nearly 200000 miles. Recently removed and refurbished injectors to successfully resolve a smoking exhaust on acceleration. Thing is, there's now a distinct lack of power mid range (between 40-60mph) and the engine overheats to fans during idle! I'm going to replace the engine thermostat which runs cold 80C. Any ideas greatly appreciated.

Also, The engine light flickered when very hot (sticky fan). Looked at OBD port to see if I could carry out diagnostics..........Hmmm. There's a port under the dash that is about twice the size of a normal OBD2 connector. Neither myself or the my mechanic has seen this type before. Would be good to get a laptop connected so any pointers, again would be appreciated
