I've had my Ulysses (2.2 jtd Prestigio) for a few years - the RT3-N3 radio failed a couple of years ago and looking at the then source of info (eurovan) it suggested a replacement RT3 would autocode.
I replaced it with a Peugeot branded unit but it didn't work... I didn't have time to do anything then but the next time it was at the garage for a service I asked them to check it out and code it. They couldn't do it but they have a guy that looks after Fiats and he said the same - that it should autocode.
I figured with the replacement radio being Peugeot branded there might have been some locking going on and just left it
Last week a "genuine" Fiat RT3 popped up on ebay - it was a N1 but I figured it was worth a punt, even if the screen didn't work I'd probably get audio which would be better than nothing
So - it arrived, I fitted it and lo and behold it also didn't work!
A search here showed that it does need coding with the Lexia 3/PP2000 - but I live on the Isle of Man so finding someone with one of those could be tricky..
Any suggestions guys?
Thanks !
