Hi there, I've recently got a Ulysse (03) Eleganza that's got a few problems/niggles, that I'm struggling to sort out.
The main one is the car had a monochrome sat nav set up (one round button to the right of the screen), but had the head unit replaced before I bought it with an aftermarket one.
I've got a RT3-N1 to put back in, fitted it, wired it all up etc. It powers on, plays music, but two problems with it:
1) VIN mismatch beep - I've got Lexia, but I can't figure out where to go to put in my VIN into the radio unit - can someone please give me a dummies Menu guide?
2) The monochrome screen is completely scrambled. It's not the usual dead pixels, all the pixels work, but it's like it displays stuff that's completely random when I push buttons (to the point where it registers things like door opening brings up a audio settings menu, pushing menu takes you to some sort of nav screen and all the titles are not matching the screen (e.g. sat nav menu options but at the top right it would say Bass or Treble), and text would overlap.
What's likely to be causing it, and how can I fix it?
