Right. I've opened the sun roof because it was sunny. STUPID! And now its gone and decided to stop closing once it started to rain, obviously. I've opened up the cover to the motor, and I can see a little Allen Key hole. I've rummaged through my tool box for a key that fitted, no problem. I've been swinging off that little f'*k for hours and it just won't budge! Have the teeth jammed on it or am I just missing a trick? Any help would be great because I'm currently opting for a tarp roof at the moment.

What year is your vehicle?

The sunroofs on the pre 2002 ones could stop before closing completely. I took the motor off mine and then slid the roof closed and put the motor back on. I never opened it again!

Thanks for the advice. I took the motor off and saw that the thread on the runners had rusted and basically rotted away. So I managed to take the motor apart so I just had the teeth to get in place and used a drill to wind the window shut. Two man job with one slowly but forcefully winding the window and the other swinging off the window itself. Took about three hours start to finish.
