| Full lock 'clunk' I've just noticed that there's a hollow 'clunk' sound as the steering hits full lock - its not loud, but noticeable (and more noticeable than on my previous cars). It may just be normal, but I'd be reassured if anyone can tell me it is! Also, I reckon that the 2.0 JTD engine if quite a bit noisier on start up than the 2.0 HDi in my previous Picasso - which I assume is basically the same engine, but with lower power. Has anyone else got a comparison? Cheers.

| Re: Full lock 'clunk' I have that clunk too (2.0JTD) - can't say though whether it's normal or not! Does sound like there's a little bit of rubber missing.

| Re: Full lock 'clunk' From memory - its both ways, although slightly more noticeable when turning full left. The noise is there if I reach full lock quickly, as though the steering hits some sort of metal stop.

Possibly worth talking to a dealer. Oh and my 14month old 2.2jtd clunks as well. Paul
