Tmc

Just got back from Holland in the Ulysse, the TMC is excellent over there. The messages are even in English in my car and Dutch in my collegues C8, amazing how it can do both.

If the goverment wants to cut down on traffic they should have made it a free to air system like the majority of Europe rather than licence it.

I know the BBC are working on a system which will be free, but how long this will take I have no idea.

Re: Tmc

Sorry when I said free, I meant as part of the very reasonable TV licence fee.

Re: Tmc

Apparently they want to put it up to £180 a year. As more than 50% of the programs are repeats, I must have paid for them in previous years so that means I should only pay £90.00 this year

Re: Tmc

£200 by year 2010 & increased at and above inflation by 3%.If they stopped paying the top men silly wages & pay offs of millions of pounds then they wouldn't have to ask .....no sorry we have no choice there......for a increase.About time the BBC was put on trial for fraud....anyway I like adverts often better than progs themselves
